okay, i've decided im goin to north carolina this weekend to visit cyndi and go out to wilmington. only problem is, i need to make some money quick for the trip.
now i have my dress that i won pageant in. its pretty nice and im thinkin i could get a pretty penny for it, but i don't know where i can sell it. i also have some old evening gowns i can sell at a second hand store. does anyone know what kinda store would pay good money quick to buy my dress?
also, any other suggestions on how i can make money before friday?

Tue, November 16, 2004 - 10:34 PMThe pawn shop idea may work. Stay away from the second hand stores, you won't get a fair deal at all.
As for selling blood, be warned. It might pay $10-40, all depending on where you go, and it can sometimes consume your entire day while waitign for your trun. And as a person who donates on a regular basis and a one time blood seller, selling the plasma hurts. They use a much larger needle than the angels at the blood donation clinic.

Ebay was a good idea...
Put an ad in the paper for the dress ... that could work.
Go to a local pool hall and hustle someone for the cash (works for me most of the time lol).
