k, some of you already know about this, but i've been lazy about postin it here:
i started my first day of work at polo ralph lauren yesterday. during my 15 min break, i checked my messages and had gotten a call from the newspaper i really wanted to work for. i had had an interview with them on thursday, and wasn't expecting anything because i have gotten so used to rejection. but when i called back, THEY OFFERED ME THE JOB!
im gonna be a reporter for a real newspaper! i start next wednesday at 10 AM.
the only weird thing is that i had to tell ralph lauren that i could only work for them for thanksgiving week, but oh well. i'd better try to take advantage of my 40% employee discount this week!
