Sick from drinking
I've numbed the pain
A life was snuffed out too soon
The ceremony is for the living
I spoke to him the other day
He left without saying goodbye
I know he's in a better place
But Why?
You have to make peace

The pastor said
It makes sense
Death sometimes doesn't
Another of my friends is gone
Creating another absence
I have to tell my friends I love them

Call your friends
So the ceremony is easier

    im sorry.

    it does teach you the lesson to seize the day though. my friend brandon died in a car accident a couple years ago when he was only 20. i went to the department store he worked at to talk to him the day after the accident, unaware that he was gone. that hits you hard.

    i feel your pain dude. i've been there too. time will make you feel better.
