Life Goals

We all have things in our life that we want to do before it's too late, aka before we're dead. My question is this, has anyone doen anything that they had to do and/or do you think you will ever achieve these goals in your life?

A really big priority for me is to have something I written published. I've already done so many cliche little things that I could be compared to a sitcom, but I still need to be published.

How about you?

That was a goal in my life as well, which I am happy to say I have accomplished. I am published frequently as a journalist. However, I still have the goal of writing a book and a goal of traveling the world.

I hope to one day (or over time) do the latter and write a book about it.

I have a couple different novel ideas I've been working on over the years. One of them was originally a screenplay project back in art school. If I ever get around to working on the mechanics of these things to get them working to my satisfaction; and then put a treatment together I could probably get them published. There's an inside track. My father has just had his fourth book published. He primarily writes military non-fiction. His agent has expressed some interest in my ideas.

But I tell you, it takes a hell of a lot of time to write a book -or rather, write a book well.

As for my life goals, I've pretty much accomplished the basics of it. I create commercial art for a living. I earned my college degree. Perhaps the main goal now is earning a good amount of money doing it. I still enjoy the work and that's the important thing.
